From Afghanistan to the Region
The Omarzay business story has extended well beyond its origins in Kabul. The Group’s historical material records operations in Moscow from 1980 to 1992, business expansion into Pakistan, and the establishment of several Dubai-based companies from 1988 onward.
This international experience has enabled the Omarzay businesses to build relationships across diverse markets while maintaining strong roots in Afghanistan.
Deh Sabz – Barikab
The wider Omarzay development vision was conceived within the Deh Sabz-Barikab area of Kabul New City, bringing together residential, commercial, retail, hospitality and supporting community facilities within a planned development environment. The original development concept envisioned a substantial residential community designed to respond to Kabul’s growing housing needs.
